Sparrowhawks 2015-16

Thursday 23rd June

This week the children were presented with books about the Queen, given by the church. They all enjoyed celebrating her 90th birthday too!
Wednesday 18th May

We all enjoyed our enrichment day, which helped us to learn more about what life was like during the Stone Age. Activities included baking bread on an open fire, spear throwing and miniature raft building. Although the weather wasn't great, it did not spoil our fun!
Thursday 24th March

We have enjoyed designing and working on our DT project of moving vehicles this week. The year 5 children have also explored our outdoor spaces for science week.
Friday 4th March 2016

World book day was great fun with so many different characters in the class. The children have written book reviews, character profiles and designed bookmarks too.
26th February 2016

We are having a fantastic day writing poems with Andy Tooze. He has really inspired us to think about the way we write. We are now looking forward to our poetry work next week, especially on World Book Day.
22nd January 2016

Here are some more photographs from our school trip for you to enjoy!
19th January 2016

We had a great time at the Grosvenor Museum last week. It was very cold when we were marching through the streets of Chester wearing Roman armour and carrying shields, but it was great fun! Edan enjoyed dressing up as a soldier using real armour, sword and shield. There will be more photographs to follow.
