🏫 In-Year Admissions

If you are moving to Derbyshire or would like your child to join Etwall Primary School outside the normal reception or transfer times, you will need to apply for an in-year admission.

This applies to children wishing to join us in Years 1 to 6.

We consider all applications carefully in line with our Admissions Policy, taking into account our Published Admission Number (PAN) and the number of places available in each year group.

1️⃣ Get in touch with us first

Give our school office a call or send us an email to check whether we currently have spaces available in the relevant year group(s).

2️⃣ Come and visit

If we have a space available—or if we are your catchment school—we strongly encourage you to come and visit us.
This is a great opportunity to:

• Meet our friendly staff
• See the school in action
• Ask any questions you may have
• Get a real feel for what makes Etwall such a special place

3️⃣ Apply through Derbyshire

All in-year applications must then be made via Derbyshire County Council.
