Our Vision for Spanish at Etwall Primary School

Our vision for Spanish at Etwall Primary School is to inspire every child to develop a curiosity about languages and an appreciation of different cultures. We strive to equip children with the knowledge, skills and confidence to communicate in Spanish, helping them to understand and engage with the wider world.

We encourage children to explore the Spanish language and the cultures of Spanish-speaking countries, sparking interest, enjoyment and a love of language learning.

⭐ Ambitious

We support children to develop their speaking, listening, reading and writing skills in Spanish, building confidence and resilience as they communicate in a new language.

🤝 Caring

We create opportunities for children to appreciate different cultures, perspectives and traditions, fostering respect, understanding and global awareness.
