Our Vision for Computing at Etwall Primary School

Our vision for Computing at Etwall Primary School is to inspire every child to develop the knowledge, skills and confidence to thrive in an increasingly digital world. We strive to equip children with the understanding they need to use technology safely, creatively and responsibly, whilst developing their computational thinking and problem-solving skills.

We encourage children to explore a wide range of digital technologies, sparking curiosity, creativity and a desire to understand how technology shapes the world around them.

We support children to develop their computing knowledge and skills, enabling them to become confident programmers, logical thinkers and effective digital creators.

We create opportunities for children to use technology responsibly and respectfully, fostering digital citizenship, online safety and an understanding of how technology can positively impact others.

🌍 There are many opportunities for the children to gain cultural capital in Computing at Etwall Primary School. Through our computing curriculum, children develop the knowledge, skills and understanding needed to thrive in an increasingly digital world.
