Peripatetic music lessons are available within school time with an external provider. Children can learn to play the flute / clarinet (year 4 onwards) or recorder (year 1 onwards) through the Derbyshire Music Partnership. Lessons last for 20 minutes with an individual lesson costing £10.00, or a shared lesson with one other pupil costing £5.00. Instruments can be hired through these lessons.
