‘It seems that the natural world is the greatest source of excitement; the greatest source of visible beauty; the greatest source of intellectual interest. It is the greatest source of so much in life that makes like worth living’ – David Attenborough
For each geography topic, children use a knowledge organiser to support them in learning the key geographical knowledge. These are below:
Through the provision of opportunities, children will develop their cultural capital through a wide range of experiences.
Some of these experiences are:
- orienteering in school
- Visit from Severn Trent Water
- Picture News assemblies
- Walk around Normanton
- Visit to the Library
- Seaside Day
- Nature walks
- Following maps
The impact of our curriculum can partly be seen in the wonderful photos of our work below.
