Communication Channels

The school uses a variety of communication channels to liaise with you and your children.  These are listed below:

Website
The school website is the main source of 'static' information.  For example, it houses details on policies, forms and acts as an archive for letters that have been sent out.

eSchools App
We use the eSchools app as a means of communication important information to parents.  This may be in the form of a letter or a short message.  Examples might include reminders to wear wellies for Forest Schools tomorrow or a consent form for a school trip.  Details of how to register for eSchools and download the app can be found at the foot of this page.

Class Dojo
This is an online learning platform which we use to post pictures of what we have been doing in school and any suggestions of work that can be done at home.  Details of how to sign up for Class Dojo will be provided for you when your child starts their learning journey with us.  We also send reminders on Class Dojo and share information about events that are upcoming.

Medical Tracker
If we need to contact you regarding a medical issue with your child, we will use an app called Medical Tracker.  All that is required in order for us to do this are your contact details and consent.  Again, this will be covered when your child starts life at Etwall Primary.

Telephone
We may have cause to contact you by phone on occasion.  Should you need to get in touch with school by phone, please do so on 01283 732301.

Post
On rare occasions, we may post letters home directly.  Should you need to post anything to us, the school address is: Etwall Primary School, Egginton Road, Etwall, Derbyshire, DE65 6NB.

Email
Should you need to contact us by email, please do so on info@etwall.derbyshire.sch.uk.
