Learning Mentor Grade 6

Contract type:

Learning Mentor - 22.5 hours per week - Term Time Only

Contract term:  One Term – until 27^th March 2026 in first instance and likely to continue until July 2026 or beyond.

We are looking for a strong and enthusiastic teaching assistant for a position which is likely to include some 1:1 work with children, small group intervention and whole class support.    

Please note that the position will also include some lunchtime cover with the 22.5 hours spaced over 4 or 5 days and the timetable will be confirmed with the successful candidate shortly after their appointment. 

 Excellent relationship skills and good behavior management skills are essential for this position as is previous experience of working with children or working in a school. 

Appropriate training will be given to the successful candidate in order to fully support them in this role.
